Throughout November, Richmond upon Thames College (RuTC) proudly hosted four events in partnership with GAUCHO restaurants to coincide with the Autumn Rugby Internationals 2025.
The events were held alongside England’s home fixtures at the Allianz Stadium, Twickenham: England v Australia on 1 November, England v Fiji on 8 November, England v New Zealand on 15 November, and England v Argentina on 23 November.
Pre-Match Dining and Special Guest Speakers
Guests enjoyed pre-match dining at the College’s on-campus restaurant, The View, before heading to the nearby stadium to watch the matches. RuTC Professional Cookery and Hospitality students worked alongside GAUCHO staff, led by Chef de Partie Dilshan Wijesekara, to prepare and deliver exceptional hospitality for guests across all four events. A mix of Level 1, 2, and 3 learners rose to the challenge of working in a professional event environment, supported and guided by our expert teaching team: James Unwin, Daniele Giraud, and Ray Wilson-Brooks.
Special guests and speakers at the events included England rugby legend Lawrence Dallaglio and former All Blacks player Zinzan Brookes.
