Richmond upon Thames College came alive last Thursday, 26th June, with colour, music, and flavour as we celebrated our much-anticipated Culture Day! A joyful and inspiring event that showcased the rich diversity of our college community.

Planned with passion and pride, the event brought together students and staff in a vibrant celebration of global cultures. Commenting on the event, Hannah Talabany, Head of School for Business & Service Industries said: “Culture Day is something I care deeply about,” . “It’s a unique opportunity for us to honour the many identities that make up our college, through food, music, dance, and meaningful exchange.”

Culture Day 2025 performances on stageThe day featured incredible performances from students, staff, and external artists, with music and dance acts reflecting a variety of traditions and regions. Our talented catering team served up a mouthwatering array of dishes from around the world, giving everyone a chance to explore new flavours.

Visitors also enjoyed interactive cultural stands, many highlighting lesser-known destinations, traditions, and stories, helping to broaden horizons and spark conversations across the campus.

Culture Day 2025 was much more than just an event as it served as a powerful reminder of the strength and beauty of our diverse community. Thank you to everyone who made it such a memorable day!
