This week, students at Richmond upon Thames College (RuTC) have enjoyed a wide range of activities to welcome them into the new academic year. The fair was attended by a variety of organisations including the Hampton based children’s hospice Shooting Star Chase, the National Citizen Service (NCS), the young person’s care service, Off the Record, based in Twickenham and Friends of the Earth – a brand new partnership for RuTC.

On Thursday 7th September, Richmond upon Thames College (RuTC) celebrated the exceptional achievements of some its students at the annual awards ceremony at York House in Twickenham.

Callum Portugal-Walker studied a Level 3 BTEC in Performing Arts (Dance) at Richmond upon Thames College (RuTC) and is also an active member of Team GB’s Acrobatics team.

Camile Walters Wright is currently working as the Metal Fabrication Apprentice at the National Theatre and has recently completed the Level 2 Welding Skills course at Richmond upon Thames College (RuTC) to support his role. He joined the National Theatre in September 2016 with no prior welding skills and now helps to build the scenery that is needed for the plays.
