Despite the rise in university tuition fees and the effect of the recession on graduate employment, over 1000 RuTC students have applied to go to university this autumn, maintaining the upward trend to progress to undergraduate studies as the preferred option after college. Local universities such as Royal Holloway, Kingston, Roehampton, St Mary's University College, West London and Brunel attended the Fair and attracted many applications from the college due to the strength and diversity of their courses.
Higher Education FairTuesday 30 April 2013
On Wednesday 24 April, seventy universities from across the UK attended a Higher Education Fair organised by Richmond upon Thames College. The fair, arranged by the College's specialist careers staff, gave RuTC students the chance to talk directly to the visiting Universities about the degree courses on offer, and also provided essential information to help with their future career paths.
