EastEnders role for Malachi

Former Richmond upon Thames College performing arts student, Malachi Kirby, has recently landed a part in BBC One's flagship soap, EastEnders.

The talented 24 year-old, who studied at the College between 2006-08, is currently playing the role of Wayne Ladlow, the fiancé of Albert Square newcomer Nancy Carter. Malachi's character was first seen in the New Year's Day episode, getting on the wrong side of new Queen Vic landlord Mick Carter, played by Danny Dyer.

Since completing his studies at Richmond upon Thames College, Malachi has also appeared in Casualty, Silent Witness and Doctors as well Sky Living series, Lawless. His film roles include Gone Too Far and the soon to be released UK horror film, The Last Showing.
