Richmond upon Thames College passes Matrix Standard reaccreditation with flying colours

Friday 28 January 2022

Richmond upon Thames College (RuTC), a leading, London-based further education provider has been accredited to the matrix Standard, demonstrating the high quality of their Information Advice and Guidance services they provide to students, teachers, and support staff.

Richmond upon Thames College is a general further education institute based in Twickenham, which employs over 140 members of staff and welcomes over 2,000 students each year.

The College recently moved into a brand-new £80 million campus building with a new STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) building coming soon.

The matrix Standard is the international quality standard for organisations that deliver information, advice and/or guidance (IAG), either as their sole purpose or as part of their service offering.

Roger Chapman, Head of the matrix Service for The Growth Company said: “This is a fantastic achievement for RuTC, and I would like to congratulate the team on their success. We believe that at the heart of high-quality advice and support services are strong leadership, excellent service and a focus on continuous improvement, all underpinned by effective use of the resources available. The matrix Standard is designed to benchmark organisations against best practices in these areas. With their accreditation success, RuTC is working to provide the best possible support to their clients.”

Commenting on the award, Sheila Fraser-Whyte, Executive Director of Business Development and Innovation at RuTC, said: “I’m thrilled that we have once again been accredited to the matrix Standard. This is a great accomplishment for the College and an even better start to 2022. All staff assessed do an excellent job in providing impartial information, advice and guidance to prospective and current students and it’s good to know that we meet the international quality standard.”
