RuTC’s Engineering Curriculum Manager, Mark Rogers, presented the awards and commented, “the apprentices have worked extremely hard and have been a credit to themselves and their employers. It was very difficult to select award winners as all apprentices performed to a very high standard, each being predicted the highest possible grade of D*D* for their BTEC Level 3 Diploma.”

Jacobs apprentice and winner of ECTIB’s Certificate of Completion, Jack Smith (20), emphasised “RuTC has provided me with great support and knowledge to enhance my skills in the workplace.” Fellow Jacobs apprentice and winner of ECTIB’s Certificate of Completion, James Clarke (19), further commented, “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed being able to combine technical knowledge and practical skills during the first year of my apprenticeship”.
