If you are in the catering industry or would like a career change and have an interest within this exciting industry then this is for you. You will be working with people who are like minded and trained in all aspects of food production by chefs with long and varied skills.

  • Entry requirements

    You will need to have experience in the catering industry, hopefully working or have completed a Level 2 in Food Production. Must be over the age of 19.

  • Who is the course for?

    This course is aimed at professional people who have an interest in all aspects of the industry. People who are looking to progress within the industry to improve their skills.

    Practical and theory lessons.

  • How is the course assessed?

    Practical assessments and multi choice theory papers.

    Our course runs for one day a week (Wednesdays) from 4pm-9pm for 1 year, starting in September. Course fees on request, but help is given if certain criteria is met.

    Links with employers include: BAFTA and Gaucho.

    Many of our former learners have gained employment in high standard catering environments including: Gaucho or BAFTA and other local and national organisations.

  • Where Next – Further Studies

    Once you have successfully completed this course it will assist with access to university courses.
