Due to the critical shortage of aviation personnel worldwide across all jobs, we have created a course that integrates industry training with educational elements to link curriculum subjects with the real world.
Learners must complete the following to successfully complete their diploma:
• 3 mandatory units, and
• 6 optional units, with a minimum of 5 aviation-related units.

- Health, safety and security in aviation.

Entry requirements
Learners should have already achieved a Level 2 Travel and Tourism qualification (or equivalent), or possess some prior experience or understanding of the subject area.

Who is the course for?
This qualification is tailored for learners aiming to move into higher-level studies or relevant roles within travel, tourism, and especially the aviation sector. It’s designed for inclusion within a study programme.

Study methods
All students will study an Introductory Diploma in the first year of their programme. This consists of classroom-based activities and coursework and incorporates a weekly tutorial as well as private study.

How is the course assessed?
This qualification is assessed internally via a portfolio of evidence. Assessment is internally assessed and externally moderated. Direct Claim Status (DCS) is not permitted for this qualification.
