Entry requirements
You should have an interest in the subject area you are applying for. There are no formal entry requirements but we will assess your level of English and Maths to make sure you are working at Entry Level 3 or above. This is to ensure you are able to meet the course requirements.

Who is the course for?
This course is aimed at students who are interested in boosting their English, Maths, and Vocational Skills, and want to progress onto a vocational course or employment the following year.

Lectures, practical workshops and research. This course will allow students the opportunities to develop skills in a variety of different areas within the college.

Learners are required to compile a portfolio of evidence. The assessment includes both performance-based and knowledge-based evidence

The course is a full-time course 4 days a week.

Where Next – Further Studies
Course tutors will help students to prepare for their next step when they complete the course. There may be opportunities to progress onto another vocational course within the College (Level 2), pre-supported internships, internships and apprenticeships.
