I’m Su, I am originally from Myanmar and am currently studying three A-Levels at Richmond upon Thames College (RuTC) - Physics, Maths, and Computer Science.
The reason I chose to move to the UK is mainly because of the exceptional standards of education here, and I was drawn to the opportunities and the quality of education that UK universities deliver to students.
I chose to study at RuTC because it offers a wide range of courses to choose from and also provides a vibrant learning environment and state of the art campus.
There is a long list of things that I like about the College, but the main thing is that it helps students with work experience and future career plans, through internship programmes and other helpful resources. It really helps me with my academic studies and career goals at the same time!
I chose to study A-Levels at the College because they can provide me with a comprehensive understanding of the subjects I am interested in, so I am very much prepared with a foundation for my future academic endeavors and university studies.
I have plans to continue my Bachelor's Degree after college or possibly take a gap year to complete work experience or an internship. I’d love to specialise in subjects such as Robotics or Software Engineering, which is why I chose to study Computer Science.
