Will I receive any communication about enrolment at the College?

If you have made an application, then we will be in touch with you via email in August. We will also send communication to your parent/guardian depending on what details you gave us at the application stage. If you have not received enrolment information from us by Monday 14th August, then we may have the incorrect email address for you, please email our Admissions team to confirm your contact details: This email address is being protected from spambots. I have not received my GCSE results yet – can I still enrol?

Your GCSE results are needed to ensure you are enrolled onto the right course and level. If you do not have your results, please contact your school as soon as possible (all schools should be open on GCSE results day – Thursday 24th August).

I didn’t get the grades for the course that I’ve been given an offer for – can I study something else?

Please still come in person to the college and we can discuss options with you to help you find a suitable subject and level.

My grades are better than expected – can I apply for a different course or level?

If you have done better than predicted, we may be able to enrol you on the next level of the course (subject to meeting course entry requirements) or discuss a completely different course. Please come to our college so we can discuss your options with you.

I’ve received a conditional offer but I’d like to change my course – how can I do that?

Please come along to your Enrolment session and we will discuss this with you in-person.

I’m not sure what subject/s I'd like to study?

Our friendly and supportive Careers team will be at available during enrolment and will be able to help with any in-person queries. Please bring all your qualifications with you and then we’ll be able to discuss your options with you.

What is the process for students enrolling with EHCPs?

If you have an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP), please ask your key worker to send your plan to us as soon as possible. Any plans should be sent to Paul Smyth Inclusive Learning Team Leader in the Inclusive Learning Support department who will then be able to help you.

I've not applied for a course – can I still enrol?

If you have not applied for a place with us, you will need to make an application. Browse our courses and apply on the course page that you want to study or come along in-person to our Open Enrolment and apply then.

I studied overseas – will my overseas qualifications be OK for the course?

If your qualifications are not GCSEs or iGCSEs then we will need you to acquire a Statement of Comparability from ENIC. The College has access to ENIC so we will be able to get a comparison for you. Just come along with all your overseas qualifications.

When will I start at the College after I have enrolled?

Teaching and induction starts on Monday 4th September. You will receive further information once you are fully enrolled.
