Candidates who have achieved the Level 3 Award in Education and Training could progress to either the Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training or the Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training. Both of these qualifications require the candidate to not have a criminal background which might prevent them from working as a teacher with young people or vulnerable adults. The Level 3 unit Understanding roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training is also a mandatory unit in the Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training. For those candidates who achieve this unit as part of the Award, credit transfer will apply when undertaking the Certificate qualification.
