Help and Advice

Gateway to Creative IT Level 2 Diploma

Should I go out to work and earn some money as soon as possible – or should I go to college and continue my education? Would I get a decent job - do I have any skills to offer an employer? Do I prefer a more practical approach to learning? If you don't have the answers to these questions, then we may have just the course for you!

The course will offer you the business IT skills that employers want as well as introducing you to the creative side of IT with web design, animation and multimedia. It also develops your communication skills and provides an understanding of the careers available in IT. If you do well you will be able to gain the OCR Cambridge Technicals Diploma in ICT.

When you are not attending training for your IT skills in college, we would encourage you to have a part time job which would have to fit around your college timetable. The skills you learn in this adult working environment, such as relating well to your colleagues, dealing with the public, punctuality and responsibility, will all be essential when you start your full time career in the workplace.
