- The facilities that are available at college are a hugely important part of our students' education and partly what makes us different to school. We are preparing our students for their future careers and that means training them in a suitable environment with industry standard facilities. We are very proud that we have a new state of the art building that opened in March 2020. Our new STEM Centre (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths), will be be opening in 2023.
- Site Carpentry Level 2
- Carpentry and Joinery (Site) Level 2 offers experienced learners a way of achieving a qualification. It is available to very experienced workers who do not require any further training. This assessment method combines the use of witness testimonies, employer endorsement, practical assessment, professional discussion and questions and answers. It normally involves the learner going to an off-site location to have their practical skills and occupational knowledge assessed. All the practical skills needed to achieve a Level 2 competence qualification are usually included in the practical assessment. The practical assessment is observed by a registered assessor.
