Sasha chose an apprenticeship because: “I was going to take a gap year anyway while deciding what I wanted to do at university or if I wanted to go and wasn’t sure how to spend it. Richmond upon Thames College told me about this apprenticeship opportunity and it captured my interest.”
Sasha most enjoys: “learning about the huge impact NPL has on science research throughout the world.”
RuTC have supported Sasha by: “coming in on Fridays to provide us with any help we need and assign us coursework.”
Lessons learnt so far: “how to produce Gantt charts, Microsoft Office Excel and Outlook. I’ve also learnt how to take minutes in a meeting and how to write professional-looking e-mails.
Sasha’s future plans include: “either staying on at NPL or go to university.”
