On 21st July Richmond upon Thames College (RuTC), Cisco, Living Networks and Job Centre Plus invited attendees to an event marking the completion of their partnership programme titled ‘Pathway to Your Future’. The 12 week pilot programme focused on building confidence, driving talent and creating sustainable skills for 12 18-24 year old NEETs (Not in Employment, Education or Training). The programme was designed to increase employment opportunities for participants and the event was the perfect opportunity for those involved to showcase its success.

For the first time ever Richmond upon Thames College (RuTC) gathered their newly launched Alumni Association, known as ‘Made in Richmond’, on 25th July for a networking event at Pitcher & Piano in Richmond. Guests came from a variety of career backgrounds and shared their experiences on the sunny riverside of the borough in which they were once students.
On Thursday 18 August, Richmond upon Thames College was pleased to report its A Level results for 2016. With 882 entries across 34 subjects these results represent achievement on a grand scale. We expect that around 550 students will be going on to university, one of the biggest cohorts from any single institution in the country, including Oxford, Cambridge and other Russell group universities and various medical schools.
