Art graduate Jemima is the face of new high-tech graphics tablet

Thursday 17 September 2015

Former Richmond upon Thames College Art & Design student, Jemima Venn, has been chosen as the face of a new advertising campaign for a high-tech graphics tablet. Jemima, who studied a BTEC Level 3 in Art & Design as well as a Foundation Diploma at the college between 2013-2015, is currently appearing in a series of adverts for the new Intuos Draw tablet by Wacom.

The talented artist, formerly of Teddington School, successfully auditioned ahead of hundreds of hopefuls after submitting video examples of her exceptional artwork and passing a rigorous screen test.

“This has been such a great opportunity for me to showcase my work and hopefully get my name out in the industry,” said Jemima. “Filming the advert was a fantastic experience, especially as they transformed my conservatory into an amazing art studio! It’s something I’m now proud to have on my CV.”

Jemima is currently taking a gap-year to concentrate on her career as an artist and will be attending Falmouth University in 2016 to study illustration.
