On Wednesday 27 November, Level 1, 2 and 3 Health and Social Care, Early Years and Catering students had the opportunity to attend a workshop and performance organised by the NHS. The event highlighted the different professions within the NHS and how these have a positive and extensive impact on people’s everyday live.
South West London Health and Care Partnership collaborated with Enact Solutions to deliver live, drama-based performances as part of their ‘Jobs that Care’ programme which runs from 25 November until 13 December. The performance enabled students to develop a greater awareness of the future career opportunities within one of England’s largest employers. Different professions showed students how their course can lead to pursuing specific career paths and motivate them to excel in their chosen studies to reach their goals. Job field range from health and social care to computing, administration, research, catering, clinical roles and much more.
