Dance students end term in style

On Wednesday 11 December, BTEC music students hosted a packed charity Christmas concert to raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Art and Design student Michael Evans was celebrating this week after winning the College Christmas card design competition. His snowman design was chosen by a panel of judges as the stand-out submission ahead of over 20 other fantastic entries.

A level student Ahmed Eissa Dar won the College's autumn/winter term Jack Petchey prize. He was nominated by his peers for his outstanding commitment to the college Islamic Society, his strong leadership qualities and supportive nature.

Arts University Bournemouth visit

In November, students from creative media production, A level photography and the art and design foundation diploma visited the Arts University Bournemouth (AUB).

On Wednesday 27 November, the College's French society celebrated the centenary of writer Albert Camus' birth by inviting the French Cultural Institute's Madame Line Playfair to the College.
