Filming for the College's exciting new promotional video completed on 20 May after an intense two and a half day shoot spanning two weeks.

On Wednesday 21 May, the College's Merits restaurant celebrated its twenty-fifth anniversary with a series of commemorative lunches and dinners.

Barfly music gig

On May 21, music students from Richmond upon Thames College performed a live gig at Barfly, one of Camden's best-known music venues. The talented musicians performed a mix of covers and original songs to a packed audience.

On May 20-21, second year BTEC performing arts students performed the play 'The Miracle' in the College's Edmund Kean Theatre. The shows marked the final curtain for the talented group after two years of top drama performances.

Enterprising students

UK quality mark for College

The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) has confirmed the quality and standards of provision at Richmond upon Thames College following its review of the institution in February 2014.

On April 29, seventy five universities from across the UK attended a Higher Education Fair organised by Richmond upon Thames College.

On Tuesday 29 April, Richmond upon Thames College's women's volleyball team won the British Colleges Sport (BCS) national cup competition.

In April, students from the Skillwise Group in supported learning raised £150 for the Heathrow Special Needs Farm by holding a raffle of unwanted Christmas gifts donated by college staff.

On Tuesday 22 April, sports students were treated to a guest talk from England 2015 recruitment manager, Jon Massie. Mr Massie, who is responsible for the overall recruitment of all paid staff for England Rugby 2015, gave a fascinating insight in to the building of sporting organisations, drawing on examples from his current role in helping to deliver the Rugby World Cup 2015, as well as from his key involvement in the London 2012 Olympics.
