Business and Sport students from Richmond upon Thames College (RuTC) achieved an impressive third-place finish in a prestigious industry design project delivered in partnership with Chelsea FC, Meta and IBM.
University Standard Competition
Competing against undergraduate and postgraduate students from Brunel University and Seoul National University, the RuTC team demonstrated exceptional creativity, professionalism and innovation to secure a place on the podium. Only Brunel University's Level 7 students finished ahead of them.
Live Industry Brief
Working on a live industry brief, students gained valuable experience developing solutions to real-world challenges and presenting their ideas to external stakeholders. Their prototype can be viewed here.
This achievement highlights the talent, ambition and potential of RuTC students, demonstrating their ability to compete successfully with learners studying at a much higher level on an international stage. As a result of their success, students will receive official certification and be able to showcase the project on LinkedIn with endorsement from Brunel University.
