Richmond Sports Volunteer Programme (RSVP)

RSVP offers volunteering opportunities with a number of schemes including:

Fulham FC Community Championships
London Youth Games – Gamesforce
Pro-active Event Volunteering
Richmond Leadership Academy
Youth Sport Trust – Step into Sport

Volunteering will help students to develop confidence, leadership skills, enhance their CV and most importantly have good fun. All schemes offer training and awards depending on how many hours you volunteer. Opportunities include coaching, event management, publicity and officiating. Students can choose to volunteer at a variety of events at local schools, in the community and at college, as well as some major London events. Volunteering can help you into paid work and will enhance your university application. Richmond Sports Volunteer Programme has been awarded the London 2012 Inspire mark, the badge of the London 2012 Inspire programme which recognises exceptional and innovative projects inspired by the 2012 games. Due to its excellence in the field of leadership and volunteering, RuTC, in conjunction with Archbishop Lanfranc School, was chosen to be the lead school for south London for youth sports trust for leadership, coaching and volunteering. This sees RuTC running a borough wide leadership convention here at the College and also allows RuTC students to access a wide range of national governing body sports qualifications before other students.
