Who is the College Experience Day for?
Are you just finishing your GCSEs or already studying at college or sixth form and thinking about changing direction?
Then our College Experience Day is ideal for you.
If you’re in year 11 and taking your GCSEs this summer or year 12 and looking for a change of direction – please come along to our College Experience Day on Wednesday 3 July 2019 to find out more about us and what it’s like to study at one of the top performing colleges in London. At the end of the day (2pm onwards), you’ll be able to apply and be interviewed to secure your place for September. If you already have your GCSE / AS results – please bring them along.
We will also be inviting all students who have been interviewed and offered a place for this September.
What is the College Experience Day?
Our College Experience Day gives you a chance to find out more about college life before you start here in September. You’ll get to meet some of your teachers and other students, find out more about your course(s) and other support the college can offer. You’ll come away feeling confident about September, so you’ll be able to relax and enjoy your summer holidays.
Beat the queues at enrolment
We’ll also take your photograph for your your Student ID during the day, which means we can FAST TRACK you at enrolment in August/September.
Is lunch provided?
Yes, you’ll be able to enjoy a FREE lunch and soft drink. However, you’re welcome to bring along your own food and drink or purchase alternative food from our canteen.
What do I need to bring?
Just bring yourself! Although you may also like to bring a pen and paper, just in case you need to write anything down.
What should I wear?
Generally, at college you don’t wear a uniform, so there is no need to wear your school uniform for the College Experience Day. However, if you are taking part in a practical subject, please see below for specific subject requirements:
- Dance – please wear/bring loose clothing suitable to dance in.
- Sports – please wear/bring suitable clothing to take part in an active sport – if the weather is good this will be outside, so please bring sun cream.
- Construction Crafts – this may get a bit messy, so please wear old clothes or clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
