We would all love to have a cup of resilience, self-confidence, tolerance, happiness, tea, coffee or hot chocolate.

This course takes place over 5 days and each day you will have live, interactive sessions with our experienced and dynamic tutors from 9:00am-12:30pm and 1:30pm-3:00pm.

Please note this is a course for adults (19+) and applications can only be accepted by students who are referred to us by the Job Centre.

    Free Course for: Anyone who is unemployed and in receipt of benefits aged 19 or over, who has been living in the European Union for the last 3 years.

  • Why do this course?

    This is for you if you want to build your confidence and engage in conversations with positive outcomes. You will explore and identify your personal communication style, reflect on what is important to you and look to move forward.

    Monday

    9:00am-10:30am: Welcome to the course

    10:45am-12.15pm: Improving own confidence

    12:45pm-1:30pm: Decision making

    1:30pm-3:00pm: Setting goals to increase confidence

    Tuesday

    10:00am-10:30am: Strengths and weaknesses

    10:30am-12.15pm: Communication - verbal and non-verbal

    1:00pm-1:45pm: Types of behaviour

    1:45pm-3:00pm: Wellbeing - how to cope with stress

    Wednesday

    9:00am-10:30am: Time management

    10:45am-12.15pm: Personal goals and opportunities

    12:45pm-1:30pm: Action planning

    1:30pm-3:00pm: Wellbeing - mindfulness

    10:00am-10:30am: Personal career portfolio

    10:30am-12.15pm: CV - core elements

    1:00pm-2:00pm: CV - developing
