It is a hands-on practical course that will help improve your skills and confidence when taking pictures with your Digital camera. We will walk you through the camera menu, shooting functions, manual exposure, file formats/image quality, framing/composition, ambient and flash lighting.

How will you be taught?
Through demonstrations, practical challenges, image analysis and verbal feedback. Participants will be encouraged to work both outside using available
light and in the photography studio, using continuous and flash lighting. You will be encouraged to put into practice the skills you learn between each session and share your work where appropriate.

No formal assessment, but participants will receive weekly encouragement and developmental feedback.

No experience required. This is an introductory course aimed at enthusiasts.

Entry Requirements
No formal entry requirements. You need to own and bring along your own DSLR camera, SD card and plenty of passion for photography!

Short Course in Analogue Photography & Darkroom Printing.
HNC/HND Photography (dependent on prior qualifications).
UAL L3 Foundation Degree Art & Design (dependent on prior qualifications).

tuition fees, loans and classroom costs - £100.00 for 5 weeks, includes basic materials and use of equipment in the workshop.
