The Corporation Board
The Corporation Board is the College's Governing Body. It comprises 16 members from a range of backgrounds reflecting the community the College serves. Members bring a broad range of expertise and experience to the work of the Board.
The Corporation is responsible for monitoring the overall functioning of the College. It has responsibility for the quality of service that the College offers to learners and the local community, as well as the College's strategic direction and financial health.
The Corporation conducts its business in accordance with English and relevant European law and within the Instrument and Articles of Government. It also observes regulations and Codes of Practices issued by the Learning and Skills Council and acts within the spirit of Standards in Public Life published by the Nolan Committee and in the report Personal Liability in Public Service Organisations published by the Neill Committee.
Board members maintain contact with the College through regular meetings with staff, students and attendance at College events.
