Richmond have had some good games this season, with some great highs and disappointing lows, but that is rugby - we have to treat each fixture with the same determination to learn and improve.
Richmond V London Irish AASE:
London Irish fielded a full strength AASE team against Richmond that included their England players, they deserved their win but were stretched by a determined Richmond Team mainly comprising of 6 of their AASE Apprentices and the rest from the rugby Academy.
After a fast and frantic 1st half Richmond got back into the game and deserved their 2 tries to get some pride in their performance and demonstrate that their true rugby spirit. London Irish won the game 37-10.
History of the Academy
Started in 1997, the Academy has gone from strength to strength and is recognised as a centre for rugby excellence and performance across the country.
