There is a wide range of extra curricular activities here at RuTC, aimed at providing all students with an opportunity to broaden their education and interests. We believe that enrichment activity is an important element in your learning programme, and we encourage students to embark upon an enrichment activity outside of their chosen subject areas. We aim to embrace as many interests as possible, and our programme is added to in response to requests by the students themselves. Some courses have qualifications attached; others are done for pure enjoyment! So, whether you like sport, art, dance, creative writing, drama, or want to join a group or society, it is here for you!
This year we have added to our extensive programme with the Young Enterprise scheme, which has proven to be hugely popular. We also run a technical workshop for students to learn about light, sound, wardrobe and stage design for stage productions. By popular demand the Duke of Edinburgh Award is also going to be an option. We also have workshops around the college, where students can get additional support with their studies. Whatever your interests, Enrichment is here for you, to support your learning and to fully enhance your time here at RuTC. |
